Beltane Standard Poodles

Ethnically wellbred Standard poodles

Very pleased to announce our Poodle breeding program!

All our dogs are health tested past OFA, PCA/UPA recommendations, all are titled in show/ sport before breeding, and have wonderful temperaments!

Puppies are raised with the puppy culture system. This allows for early stimulation and getting used to new smells and sounds as they grow. This is to avoid sensitivity to loud noises like thunderstorm and firework anxiety. They will have their faces and feet shaved at 5, 7 and 9 weeks before they are ready to go home. Allowing them to be used to the grooming process and set them up for success.

They will be temperament tested at 8 weeks to see which placement with families on the waiting list will be a right fit for their lifestyle. They will be sent home at 9 weeks rather than 8, that extra week is for them to get used to leash training and allows more time for socializing with their siblings and the adult dogs in the house.

All our puppies are microchipped with our information and a contract stating should they not be able to keep the dog for any reason they are to be returned back to us. We will never allow our dogs to end up in the shelters. Our goal is breed preservation and strive to breed only the healthiest dogs.

We highly recommend you do research on any breeder you choose to buy from, make sure they are not a back yard breeder, puppy mill or just an irresponsible owner adding to the shelter crisis! The bare minimum is health testing for any breeder (OFA/Pennhip as well not just Embark/wisdom panel or a vet saying that the dog is healthy from a physical exam), titled dogs prove they are structurally close to breed standard as possible. Even if you're simply looking for a pet, a well bred dog will cost far less in vet bills. Mix breeds can not be health tested accurately nor are they healthier than a well bred purebred, they are a gamble just as byb, puppy mill and "oops" litters. If you don't mind that risk, please adopt and not add to the shelter population.

Reminder that anyone who is selling dogs under the titles of " Micro mini, teacup, moyen, royal, rare, mega coat, exotic colors, english cream and so on" are not reputable, for each breed they have either Toy, Minatare, Standard or in some breeds Giant. That is it. Check the breed standard for any breed you are looking for in the future, make sure they are true to standard including color! For example, Poodles, Bulldogs of any variety, Yorkies, Schnauzers do NOT come in Merle. They are a mix breed, not a purebred regardless of what the owner states.  Mix breeds do not have a standard, thus they are unpredictable in size, coat and personality.
